Flip sill
An ADA compliant flip sill is used when an operable door is incorporated into the unit.  It must be used in conjunction with a Standard Recessed sill. In order for the operable panel to be opened the sill must physically flipped to allow passage.
Fixed ADA Sill
The ADA fixed sill is acceptable for top hung, load bearing wall systems. While ADA compliant, it provides limited air and water performance.
Flush Sill
The flush sill is an excellent option for top loading systems. It is recessed for seamless reveal in any surface. Not recommended for exterior use. Limited air and water performance.
Surface Mount Sill
An ADA compliant sill, the surface mount sill is suitable for showrooms and can withstand typical loads from most vehicles with rubber or pneumatic tires. It is also designed to provide moderate air and water control for walls partially exposed to an exterior environment.
Recessed Tank Sill
This sill is completely flush with the floor and includes a drain tank. It provides additional water control, a clean appearance, and completely eliminates any ADA concerns.(Drain tubes manufactured by others.)
Dust Proof Floor Strike
There is no sill used for this option. The only penetrated areas in the floor are those required for locking hardware and dust proof floor strike. Lock is penetrated into the floor strike.
